The Korean War

Was a war between North and South Korea, Which began 60 years ago.
The conflict soon became international under U.S. leadership, the United Nations joined to support South Korea and the People’s Republic of China support North Korea.
The war arose from the division of Korea at the end of World War II,and from the global tensions of the Cold War that developed immediately afterwards.
At least 2.5 million persons lost their lives.
